Overview

St. Luke's Health System in Boise is seeking a part time OR Circulator Registered Nurse to join our Boise Surgery Center team.

** $7500 Sign on bonus offered for this position **

Schedule - 2 (10) hours shifts per week - (.5 FTE) 40 hours per pay period with variable start/end times and variable days off. Surger Center is open Monday-Thursday. No weekends, holidays or call required.

Unit Summary

Boise Surgery Center is a 4x OR day surgery center performing pediatric and adult ENT, Gynecology, Plastics, and Breast surgeries Monday thru Thursday 0600-1800. Situated across the street from the Boise St. Luke's hospital campus and connected via an underground tunnel, the Boise Surgery Center boasts 6x Preop bays and 10x Recovery bays in a freshly remodeled, spacious facility.

Responsibilities

• Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.
• Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
• Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.
• Manages care of patients.
• Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities
• Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
• Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
• Experience: 1+ year Circulator RN experience is highly preferred
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice- CNOR highly preferred
