Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Review nurse supports the medical staff and hospital in identifying opportunities to improve the quality and safety of care for patient through data analysis and process improvement efforts. This position uses rigious case and statistical analysis to identify gaps in performance and leads multidisciplanary teams to achieve the facilities goal of being a Top 10% hospital for quality and safety.

• CA RN license or BSN

• One to three years experience in an interventional cardiac cath lab or cardiovascular surgical operating room

• 3+ years quality review experience with Society of Thoracic Surgeons, California CABG Outcomes Reporting Program and National Cardiovascular Data Registry

• Proficient in Excel including data analysis and QI Macros for statistical reporting

• Experience with facilitating process improvement in an acute care setting required
