The position is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs. Leads requirements gathering process, develops Software Requirements Specifications documents, coordinates user testing and first level of application support. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Has strong knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within application development field. Regularly extracts and manages large data files and reconciles data between Nemours Financial System and Capital Project Software. Manages external software developers to improve business processes. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job functions require exercising independent judgment.
Lead requirements gathering process from business partners for Application Development
Write business section of Software Requirements Specifications Document Develop end-user
Test Plan Reconcile & verify Financial data between Capital Project Software and Accounting System
Conduct and coordinate user testing and end-user training.
Coordinate activites with business process owners and other Internal and External technical resources assigned to projects requiring the development and/or changes to application.
Develop User Manual & Training Program for Capital Project Software users. Identify and resolve process and procedural issues.
Track system performance and effectiveness.
Stays current on technological aspects of the position.
Developes process workflows in Capital Project Software for automation of financial aspects of projects.
Adheres to departmental standards and procedures.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
A Bachelor's degree is required as well as 5 years of prior experience.
Required certifications, currently held, or obtained within six months of job acceptance, for the position are:
E-Builder Cost Module Certification (Beginning and Advanced)
E-Builder Certified Administrator
Infor – Lawson Reporting and Business Analytics Completion
