PeaceHealth Medical Group is hiring an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to join this well respected and established practice in Eugene/Springfield, Oregon. This will be a relief position, employed as needed.
About us: We are a full-scope Nurse-Midwifery practice that serves women and families of the Eugene/Springfield area and beyond. We staff two clinics: the Birth Center, which offers a home-like environment for prenatal care, and the Lane County Prenatal Clinic, which serves low income and/or underinsured women. We offer the option for out-of-hospital birth and waterbirth for low risk women. We also provide midwifery care at Sacred Heart Riverbend Medical Center for those seeking or in need of a hospital delivery. Our team of eight midwives and five registered nurses provide full scope care and stellar lactation support. Given what we offer to women, babies and families, we have long been treasured by our patients and the community at large.
Job highlights: 4 shifts per week total: A shift is 12 hour call or a clinic day. Some second call obligation. Supportive, flexible schedule that allows for work life balance.
